Experiencing flooding is a very distressing event. Being prepared in advance is good practice if possible, but if your home is flooded, advice is available:

• What to do before, during and after a flood is an EA downloadable PDF Document.
• The Environment Agency's Approach to Groundwater Protection is a also a downloadable PDF

It is important to report flooding, however minor, so that the authorities can build a picture of flash points for flooding.

• SCC Flooding Information – This site lists a number of links including to the Met Office and Travel Somerset. At the bottom of the page is a list of links that could be useful in preparation or in the event of a flood.
