A note from Somerset Libraries: "Just a quick note to let you know that we currently have space available for anyone who might benefit from the Home Library Service. This free service is for people who love reading but find it difficult to get to the library—whether due to health, mobility, or caring responsibilities. We have friendly volunteers in Wells, Shepton, Glastonbury, Street, and surrounding areas who are ready to help. Once signed up, individuals are matched with a volunteer who will choose, deliver, and return books—and often stay for a friendly chat too!" poster attached. So that's it for this week. Pretty much every council committee, working group and Full Council are meeting this month, and you know you're very welcome at any time! 🙂 You will probably see our Chair, Jacqui, outgoing Vice-Chair Tony & new Vice-Chair Marcel in action!
