Councillor Vacancy - Come and join us!

COME AND JOIN US!!

We're seeking a community-driven, energetic and can-do councillor to join the council team at St Cuthbert (Out) Parish Council.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a casual vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillor for the North Ward of the Parish Council and that it can be filled by means of Co-option.

Any Candidates wishing to be considered for the vacancy should firstly contact the Parish Clerk to register their interest and secondly, attend the next Full Council Meeting:

MONDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 2025, EASTON VILLAGE HALL 7PM

OR

MONDAY 3RD NOVEMBER, DINDER VILLAGE HALL 7PM

Candidates should be prepared to make a presentation of up to 2 minutes on why they believe the Council should elect them to the vacancy.

If more than one Candidate is present for the vacancy, there will be an election within the Council. The election will be based on a knockout system until the winning Candidate has gained over 50% of the vote. Candidates are advised that they must meet the same criteria as if they have gone through a public poll.
